How to use Luxify
From installation to your own scenarios. To see what everything looks like, take the tour of the app. Didn't find an answer? Message support on Telegram.
Installation
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. You don't need to install .NET separately.
- A microphone — built-in or external.
- About 1 GB of free space and an internet connection for activation, the first download of voices and speech models, and updates. Speech itself is recognized offline.
Where to get the installer
You can download the app after purchase: in your account or on the page that opens after payment. If Telegram is linked to your account, the payment confirmation is sent there too.
How to install
- Run the downloaded file.
- Wait for the installation to finish. Administrator rights are not required: the app is installed into your
Windows profile (
%LocalAppData%\Luxify.Assistant). - Launch Luxify Assistant from the shortcut.
- After activation you'll see "Downloading components…": the app downloads the speech models and a voice (the installer is about 90 MB, the components about 300 MB). The other voices download in the background.
If an old version from Program Files is still on the computer, the app will offer once to remove it. Your commands and settings will be kept.
Updates install themselves: the new version downloads in the background and is installed on the next launch. Everyone gets updates, including users without a subscription.
Activation
Activation links the app to your Luxify account and binds the computer to it. There is no password — sign in with Telegram or with email, using a code from the email.
- Launch the app. The "Activation" window opens with an eight-character code.
- Click "Open sign-in page". If the code wasn't filled in automatically, click "Copy code" in the app, paste it on the page and click "Continue".
- Sign in with the Telegram button, the "Sign in via the Telegram bot" link (if the button didn't appear) or with email — a code from the email. If you're already signed in on the site, just confirm.
- Check the device name and click "Confirm sign-in".
- Return to the app — it will bind the computer and load your purchases by itself.
The code is valid for about 10 minutes. If it has expired, click "Get a new code".
Never share the code with anyone. If someone asks you to read it out or "confirm" it in a chat, someone else is trying to sign in to your account. Click "This wasn't me" on the page.
If there are no free computer slots, the "License in use" window opens — see Computers and unbinding.
First commands
- Make sure the microphone is on: the microphone button is in the top right corner of the main window.
- Install the Windows pack (see Command packs) — you'll get commands for windows, sound and the system.
- Say a command as a normal phrase: "turn it up", "minimize all windows", "switch layout".
- You can see the result in the main window's "Command history": what was heard and what was done.
The phrases "open …" and "launch …" look for programs and files in the folders from "Settings → File search".
On the right of the main window is the "Control panel": prefix mode, avatar animation, "Always on top" and the app's volume.
Voice input
Everything about recognition is in "Settings → Voice input".
- Recognition engine. "Local model" runs on your computer, even without internet. Plus adds cloud engines: "Luxify Recognition" (no key of your own, just sign in to your account) and "OpenAI (cloud)" with an OpenAI, ProxyAPI or AITUNNEL key ("Settings → AI provider"). Changing the engine takes effect after a restart.
- Speech recognition language — "Auto", "Russian" or "English".
- Microphone — which device to listen to. The system default is used by default.
- Recognition sensitivity and prefix sensitivity — if the app reacts to background sounds, lower them; if it doesn't hear you, raise them.
- Auto-activate microphone — start listening right after the app launches.
Wake word (prefix)
The default wake word is "jarvis". You can change it in the "Prefix" field, including to several words separated by commas. Commands you've already created don't need to be changed.
- Prefix mode off (default) — a command works both with and without the wake word.
- Prefix mode on — only phrases that start with the wake word, said in the same utterance, are executed. Without it, "Prefix required" appears in the history.
Modes can also be switched by voice, using the "Mode activation phrases": "switch to prefix mode", "switch to silent mode", "stop listening".
The language of the app itself is in "Settings → Interface → Interface language": Russian or English.
Command editor
Commands are stored as a tree: collection → folder → command. A collection is the top level ("Jarvis", "Work", "YouTube control"); a command is created inside a folder.
Create a command
- Open the "Command editor" (the icon on the left panel).
- Click "Create collection", then select it and click "Create folder".
- Select the folder, click "Create a new command" and fill in "Name".
- Click "Action", choose one in the "Action list" and click "Insert". A command can have any number of actions; reorder them by dragging. The available actions are described in Actions.
- Fill in the action's parameter: a link, a path to a program, a key shortcut, text.
- In "Activation phrases", enter what to say. In "Optional phrases", enter words that can be said before or after: "open", "please".
- Click "Save" on the command card, then "Save" on the tree panel — only then is the command written to disk.
Phrases
A required phrase is the core meaning of the command: "work mode". Optional phrases are filler words around it that you can say or skip: "turn on work mode", "work mode, please". If a phrase matches a phrase of another command, the app warns you before saving.
Command card
- Confirm — Luxify asks for confirmation before running the command. Answer by voice: "yes", "correct", "confirm" or "no", "cancel". With no answer within 30 seconds, it is cancelled. The words can be changed in "Settings → Command execution".
- Chain PLUS — the command can be run in a chain with others, see Scenarios.
- Record actions PLUS and Create with AI PLUS — see Scenarios.
Tree
- The power button in a row disables a command, a folder or a whole collection. A disabled command stays in the tree but doesn't run; turn the folder back on and everything is as it was.
- Search in the header finds collections, folders, commands and phrases. Enter — next match, Esc — clear.
- Right-click — edit, add a phrase, clone, copy (including as JSON), paste, export, delete, expand or collapse all.
- Import and export — as a JSON file, including by dragging the file into the window. This is a handy way to share commands and move them to another computer. If imported commands contain scripts, launching or writing files, or shutdown, the app shows them and turns on confirmation.
- Order and nesting are changed by dragging.
Actions
Everything a command can do. Actions are grouped into ten groups in the "Action list"; you can also type an action in the command row — suggestions will appear.
Launch
- Open a website — a link, for example
https://youtube.com. - Run a file or app — a path to an .exe or any file.
- Run a CMD command PLUS — for example
ipconfig;keep: ipconfigkeeps the window open. - Run a PowerShell command PLUS — a command or a path to a .ps1.
Keyboard
- Press a key or shortcut — press the shortcut right in the parameter field: Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Win+R, F5, arrow keys.
- Type text — ready-made text in any language, with line breaks.
- Save (Ctrl+S), Press Enter.
Mouse
- Left click, right click, double click, middle click; right click multiple times.
- Move cursor to coordinates (
X Y) and move the cursor by a distance or in a direction. - Scroll the wheel (
3— up,-3— down), scroll up or down. - Hold the left or right button for a set time.
- Drag from the current point or from point to point (
x1 y1 x2 y2).
Program
- Pause in seconds, milliseconds or minutes — wait before the next step.
- Minimize Luxify to tray.
Voice
Ready-made phrases of the selected voice, by section: confirmations, greetings, launch and action, readiness and status, system, sound and volume, music and media, window management, cancel and stop, program, protocols. See Voices.
Sound
- Play WAV or MP3 — a path to an audio file.
- Speak with a male or female voice — any text in a Windows voice.
- App volume — changes one app's volume in the Windows mixer, not the whole system:
+10,-10,50ormute; after;— processes, comma-separated (+10;spotify); empty — the active window.
System
- Set volume (0–100), increase or decrease it by N percent.
- Lock the screen, turn the monitor off or on, sleep mode.
- Shut down and restart the computer — when you save such a command, the app offers to turn on "Confirm".
Browser
- Search the web — opens search results for the query.
- Open the first search result — goes straight to the first link.
Text
Windows dictation — opens the standard dictation (Win+H) so you can dictate text into the active field.
Files
- Create a folder — a path to the new folder.
- Write text to a file —
file|text, for exampleC:\Temp\a.txt|hello. Writing script files (.bat, .cmd, .ps1 and similar) is PLUS only.
Scenarios
A scenario is a regular command with several actions. One phrase, and the app performs the steps in order. Scenarios with any number of actions are available in the app without a subscription.
Example: "'We have guests' protocol"
- Press a key or shortcut — Win+D (minimize all windows).
- Set volume —
0. - Open a website — for example, a movie streaming site.
- Voice — "Protocol complete".
Activation phrases: "we have guests protocol", "we have guests".
Tips
- Between launching a program and pressing keys in it, add a pause of 1–3 seconds — the program needs time to open.
- Mouse coordinates depend on the screen resolution: on another monitor, clicks may miss. Use key shortcuts where possible.
- End a scenario with a voice phrase — that way it's clear everything is done.
- Dangerous steps (shutdown, restart) — only with "Confirm".
Command chaining PLUS
Several existing commands with one phrase: "open youtube and turn it up". The default linking words are "and", "then", "after that" (changed in "Settings → Command execution"). Only commands marked "Chain" take part in chaining.
Record actions PLUS
Click "Record actions" on the command card, do everything by hand and click "Stop" on the floating indicator. Clicks, scrolling, typed text, key shortcuts, program launches and pauses become regular steps that you can edit. Mouse movement isn't recorded frame by frame: before each click the cursor simply jumps to the right spot.
Create with AI PLUS
Describe the command in words — "open Yandex Music and turn it down" — review the suggested steps and click "Create". Only existing actions are used, and the command isn't saved automatically. A connected AI service is required (see Luxify AI).
Command packs
A pack is a ready-made set of commands for a program, website or game. Once installed, it's a regular collection in the editor: you can change it, disable it and delete it.
- Open "Add-ons" → the "Commands" tab.
- Find a pack with search or by the categories on the right.
- Click "Install" and choose the command language: Russian, English or both.
- Tick the folders you need — the bottom shows how many commands will be installed. Clicking a command lets you preview its phrases and actions.
- Confirm the installation. Packs are downloaded from the server — internet is required.
Speak naturally: "switch layout", "pause the video". For accuracy, name the service: "youtube pause". Short phrases like "pause" work when that service's window is open. "Update" on the card installs the new version of the pack and doesn't touch commands you have changed.
The installer finds programs on your computer by itself. If a program is missing, its web version is used, and if there's none, the command is skipped; the installation window shows how many were skipped.
In the app — the "Default commands" category: Windows, Google Chrome, YouTube, Telegram, Spotify, Word, Yandex Music, plus the "Default command pack" that installs all seven as one collection. In Plus — 41 more packs: communication, browsers, design, video and music, work and games (Steam, Counter-Strike 2, Minecraft, Dota 2, Fortnite, PUBG, League of Legends), and "All ready-made scenarios" — 11 scenarios such as "Good morning", "Movie mode" and "Bedtime".
Game pack commands are regular key presses with the default controls. If you've changed the controls in the game, adjust the shortcut in the command.
Voices
Luxify answers out loud in a character's voice. The voices are included in the app:
- Marvel — Jarvis, Friday, EDITH, Karen, Ultron, Vision;
- Portal — GLaDOS;
- MiSide — Mita;
- Atomic Heart — HRAZ.
The voice is chosen in "Settings → Voice", and so is the volume. You can add the voice's phrases to your own commands with an action from the "Voice" group.
Speech synthesis
Luxify AI replies and the "Speak…" actions use a Windows voice. PLUS adds cloud voices: "Luxify Voice" — Fish Audio voices with no key of your own, plus OpenAI (with an OpenAI, ProxyAPI or AITUNNEL key) and Fish Audio with your own key — "Settings → Speech synthesis".
Luxify AI PLUS
A chat with a neural network inside the app that can run your commands.
No key needed. By default Luxify AI works through "Luxify AI Cloud" — no key of your own and no VPN, with a monthly limit. Need more or a different AI — connect your own key. There are 12 to choose from: OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, xAI (Grok), DeepSeek, YandexGPT, GigaChat, the OpenRouter, ProxyAPI and AITUNNEL gateways, a local model (Ollama, LM Studio — free and offline) and your own OpenAI-compatible server. Requests are billed by the service; a ChatGPT subscription won't work. Gemini and GigaChat have a free tier.
- Open "Settings → AI provider" and choose a provider. "Get a key" shows where to get one.
- Paste the key into the "API key" field and click "Test connection". Then click "Save".
- Open Luxify AI (the icon on the left panel).
What it can do: answer questions, search the web for fresh data, read images and documents (DOCX, XLSX, text and code; not PDF), take a screenshot, create images and files (TXT, MD, CSV, JSON, XLSX, DOCX), and run your commands, understanding what you mean. The mode is set in "Luxify AI settings": "AI only", "PC control only" or "Combined"; search, images and files work in Combined. Images are supported by OpenAI, Gemini, Grok and the ProxyAPI and AITUNNEL gateways; if the chosen service can't do it, the app uses another saved key.
By voice
Turn on "Voice activation by prefix" in "Luxify AI settings". Then "jarvis, tell me about Mars" goes to Luxify AI, while "jarvis, open Telegram" runs as a regular command. Without the wake word, nothing is sent to the neural network. For a few seconds after a reply you can continue without the wake word; to interrupt a reply, say "stop".
Telegram and avatar PLUS
PC Control — control from Telegram
The plugin runs commands from the editor through your own personal Telegram bot. The computer must be on, the app running and connected to the internet.
- In Telegram, open @BotFather, create a bot with the
/newbotcommand and copy the token. - In the app: "Add-ons" → "Plugins" → the gear on the PC Control card.
- Paste the token into the "Bot token (BotFather)" field.
- Fill in "Owner's Telegram ID": message your bot (until the ID is set, it replies with it) or ask @userinfobot.
- Turn on "Enable PC Control" and click "Save".
/menu (or the word "menu") opens the folders and commands from the editor. You can also type
a command as text. If you changed commands in the app, tap "Refresh" in the menu.
- The bot only runs messages from the owner and ignores everyone else.
- Commands marked "Confirm" run only from a menu button, after "Confirm".
- Disabled commands aren't shown in the menu. Voice messages aren't supported yet.
Visual Avatar
An on-screen animation — concentric circles, like on the app's main page. It reacts to the assistant's voice, the microphone or system sounds, doesn't get in the way of clicks and can snap to the screen edges. Turn it on in "Add-ons" → "Plugins"; settings are under the gear on the card.
Computers and unbinding
Buying the app gives you one computer slot. Two more can be added in your account with the "Add a computer" button — up to three in total. Plus works on all bound computers.
These don't take a new slot: reinstalling the app, Windows updates and renaming the computer. Reinstalling Windows counts as a change of computer.
If all slots are taken
The app opens the "License in use" window: it shows which computer holds the slot and when it was last active. You can "Unbind that computer and activate this one" or buy another slot (if you have fewer than three).
Unbinding in your account
- Open luxify-assistant.com/account and sign in — with Telegram or email.
- In the "Computers" section, click "Unbind".
You can unbind on your own no more than once every 30 days — otherwise, instead of the button you'll see the date when unbinding becomes available. If your computer broke, contact support. "Log out everywhere" doesn't unbind computers.
Without internet
Commands and speech recognition always work offline. Plus features work up to three days without a connection, then the app asks you to connect. The subscription period isn't extended while offline.
Subscription and cancellation
Luxify Plus is paid monthly or yearly (which is cheaper). There is no free trial. Plus extends the app: if you don't have the app yet, it is added to the first payment, and after that only Plus renews.
Auto-renewal
Plus is available only with auto-renewal: at the end of the period, payment is charged to the card you paid with. After the charge, you get "Subscription renewed" in Telegram with the date of the next charge.
How to cancel renewal
- Open your account and sign in — with Telegram or email.
- In the "Subscription" section, click "Cancel renewal".
The paid period stays active until its end, and no further money is charged. Changed your mind before the period ends? Click "Turn renewal back on".
Switching from monthly to yearly
In your account, click "Switch to yearly" and pay for the year: 12 months are added to the period you've already paid for, and after that the subscription renews once a year.
If a charge fails
When the paid period ends, Plus features are turned off. For three days we try to charge the payment again and let you know in Telegram. Once the payment goes through, everything comes back.
Without a subscription
The app keeps working — it's yours forever. Luxify AI, chaining, action recording and plugins are turned off; cloud recognition is replaced by the built-in one, and custom appearance by the standard one. Commands with CMD or PowerShell and commands from Plus packs stay in the editor but don't run. Settings aren't deleted and come back after renewal.
Common problems
The microphone doesn't hear me
Check the microphone button in the main window and the device in "Settings → Voice input → Microphone". Microphone access must be allowed in Windows privacy settings. If the app hears you but mixes up words, raise "Recognition sensitivity" or speak closer to the microphone.
A command doesn't work
- "Prefix required" — start the phrase with the wake word or turn off "Prefix mode".
- "Command is disabled" — turn it (or its folder) on in the editor.
- "Command not found" — check the "Activation phrases" and that the tree was saved with the "Save" button.
- A short pack phrase ("pause") works only when the service's window is active — add the service name: "youtube pause".
A pack doesn't launch a program
The program wasn't found on the computer — the pack installer used the web version or skipped the command. Specify the path to the .exe in the "Run a file or app" action or add the folder in "Settings → File search".
A command in a game doesn't press keys
Make sure the game is the active window and the shortcut in the command matches the game's controls. Some games with anti-cheat protection don't accept simulated key presses — this is a limitation of the game.
"No key" or an AI service error
"Luxify AI Cloud", "Luxify Recognition" and "Luxify Voice" need no key, but you must be signed in and have Plus; the cloud's monthly limit is shown in the app. With your own key: choose a provider in "Settings → AI provider", add the key and click "Test connection".
"Couldn't download components"
On first launch the app downloads voices and speech models. Check your internet connection and that you're signed in to your account, then restart the app.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC"
This is how Windows greets new apps without a publisher signature. Click "More info" → "Run anyway". Download the installer only from your account.
"Commands file is busy"
An antivirus or OneDrive sync sometimes temporarily locks the commands file — the app will warn you. Pause them and save again.
"Available in Plus only"
Click the line in the history — a subscription offer opens. Already paid? Click "Already bought — refresh".
"Couldn't verify entitlements" or no internet
This doesn't mean you have no entitlements: commands work offline, and Plus features for up to three days. Connect to the internet and click "Check again".
